The Sixers finished their stint on the road tonight with a 127-91 loss to the superior Clippers. MCW was out with shoulder soreness and starting in his place was Tony Wroten. Tonight started off with another solid first half performance to the tune of 53 points, 6 off of last night's season high of 59. Leading the way was Tony Wroten who scored 27 points in 38 minutes with 7 assists and 4 rebounds. He has proven that he can pick up the slack and then some when MCW was out earlier this year. The second half on the other hand was a different story entirely. The Clips were way too much to handle for too long for the Sixers, who were outscored 65-38 in the second half. Robert Covington also had a great night with 23 points on 4-7 from beyond the arc. Nerlens almost reached a double double yet again with 7 points and 12 rebounds. He is all over the place down low and just moves around constantly. That shot still seems something to be desired though. He can't seem to just let it fly from 10 feet out. He needs to trust himself a little more.
Tomorrow the Sixers come back home to a 7 o'clock tip with the LeBron-less Cavs.
