The two teams last met at UMASS back in October of 2008, a 98-92 win for the Sixers over the defending champion Celtics, a game that saw Elton Brand make his debut for Philadelphia.
This matchup should be an interesting one with both Philadelphia and Boston holding on to two of the top three picks in the upcoming draft. The Sixers also have the 24th and 26th picks and the Celtics have the 16th and 23rd selections in the first round.
The remainder of the 2016 Sixers preseason will be announced at a later date.
