The Philadelphia 76ers (2-1) hit the road for a brief, two-game road trip beginning Tuesday night in Detroit (2-0) following by a Wednesday match-up in Milwaukee with the Bucks (2-0). The Sixers have begun the season short-handed off the bench, but the guys that have missed time look to be progressing towards a return.
Here's an update on the current injured Sixers and their status for Tuesday's game:
Jerryd Bayless: Bayless sprained his knee in the preseason and remains out for the foreseeable future.
Wilson Chandler: Chandler suffered a left hamstring strain in the Sixers first preseason game. He is progressing in basketball activities and was a partial participant in Monday's practice. He'll miss the next two games (at DET, at MIL) and be re-evaluated prior to Saturday's home game against the Hornets.
Mike Muscala: Muscala has missed the first three games with a left ankle sprain. He was a full participant in Monday's practice and is listed as questionable.
Ben Simmons: Simmons left the Sixers game against Orlando in the first quarter with back tightness. He did not practice on Monday an is listed as questionable for Tuesday's game in Detroit.
Zhaire Smith: Smith remains out after suffering a Jones fracture during the offseason.
