Sixers look to prove who the better builders are against the Knicks: Game Preview 4/5

Another part in the tank bowl series is upon us as the Sixers will take on the Knicks tonight at MSG. The Sixers have lost four in a row after last night’s one point decision to the Hornets. You have to give them credit for hanging with them the entire way, especially since Noel left pretty early. The injury came in the form of a cut above Noel’s right eye so I would hope to see him out there against the Knicks tonight.

As it stands now, the Knicks lead the race for the most ping pong balls as they have only totaled 14 wins this year. A Knicks win would help the Sixers chances at the first pick, but with it being this late in the season there is a slim chance that anybody but the Knicks would end up with the most ping pong balls. I for one want the Sixers to finish the season strong, and to snag a win against the Knicks would be nice. If we can end the year on a good note then we’ll be even more excited for what’s to come next season in what could be a competitive year for the Sixers.

The last time the Sixers and Knicks met back on March 20th, Nerlens Noel posted monster numbers with 23 points and 14 rebounds. I would see no reason that he doesn’t put up another solid showing unless of course he sits out due to his eye.

Tip off is slated for 7:30 at MSG.
