Thirteen-year NBA veteran guard JJ Redick will not return to the Philadelphia 76ers for a third season. On Sunday, shortly after the free agency period began, the 35-year-old agreed to a two-year, $26.5 million contract with the New Orleans Pelicans, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

In 146 games (133 starts) with the Sixers over the past two seasons, Redick averaged 17.6 points per game, 2.8 assists per game, 0.5 steals per game, 2.5 rebounds per game and shot nearly 90 percent from the free throw line (89.9).
This past season, Redick converted the seventh-most three-point field goals in the NBA (240), while logging the fifth-best free throw percentage (.894)
