On Thursday morning the Philadelphia 76ers announced that they will run a season-long "Spirit of the Champion" celebration, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the 1966-67 Championship team. According to the team's official release, the celebration includes the first-ever tribute center court signed by Sixers Full Season Ticket Members, collectible tickets and ticket boxes for Season Ticket Members, the unveiling of sculptures honoring 1966-67 legends Wilt Chamberlain, Billy Cunningham, Hal Greer and more. In addition, on six Saturday games, denoted as "Salute Saturday" nights, the team will wear hardwod classics throwback jerseys.
