The Sixers have signed shooting guard Darius Johnson-Odom to a 10-day contract and released Lorenzo Brown.
Drafted by the Mavericks in 2012 as the 55th overall pick out of Marquette, Johnson-Odom was traded to the Lakers on draft day and then released by them in January of 2013. After playing professionally in Russia and China, he signed with the Springfield Armor of the NBA D-League in January. With the Armor, Johnson-Odom averaged 22 points, 4.4 rebounds and 6.1 assists per game in 27 games.
In order to make room for Johnson-Odom, the Sixers released Lorenzo Brown. He averaged 2.5 points, 1.6 assists, 1.5 rebounds in 26 games with the Sixers. The rookie was assigned to the Delaware 87ers six times.
