With reports surfacing about Jahlil Okafor being involved in a second altercation back on November 25th in Boston, the Sixers have taken action and decided to suspend the rookie center for two games, effective immediately. Here's the official statement from the Sixers:

We have made the determination to suspend Jahlil Okafor for two games, effective immediately.

Jahlil is a very important part of our organization and our future. While we are disappointed with his recent actions, we have faith in him as a valued member of the Sixers. We will provide the necessary resources to support him on his journey and will do our part to help him succeed both on and off the court.

Earlier today, TMZ released footage of a second incident involving Okafor in Boston. One of the victims, knocked out by a punch in the melee, told his attorney that he's positive that it was Okafor that delivered the knockout blow. The unnamed victim might pursue legal actions in the coming weeks as Boston PD continues to investigate the situation.
