Don't you just love when you see the Sixers getting along with each other and being silly with one another?
Well for some people, the dream became a reality on Friday, as the Sixers team finally dubbed TJ McConnell as his alter ego, "White Iverson."
Of course, this is an homage to the 2015 rap song by Post Malone. And the song itself can be described in this way.
"White Iverson” is Post Malone’s breakout basketball anthem. It’s about his dreams to be livin' as large as an NBA superstar, ballin' on his haters, and showing the world that he can live by his own rules.
The fans and the team have compared McConnell to longtime Sixer legend Allen Iverson due to his hustle on the court in whatever way he can.
Recently, when McConnell would score a basket, the PA would play "White Iverson" over the speakers.
The team gifted McConnell with a "White Iverson" jersey for Christmas, making his personification to "White Iverson" official.
