Source: Phillies Send Blanton’s Health Records To Baltimore

It seems like Joe Blanton will be moving back to the American League according to numerous reports.

According to a source coming from MASN's Roch Kubatko says that the Phillies have faxed righthander Joe Blanton's health records to the Baltimore Orioles' orthopedist. 

Blanton has been the talk of the town today, as have many of his teammates. It looks inevitable that Blanton will be headed to Baltimore before tomorrow's 4 o'clock deadline. 

Blanton is 8-9, 4.59 ERA in 20 starts for the Phillies this season and has pitched at least seven innings in his last three starts. Over that span, Blanton has a 1-1 record and a 2.73 ERA.

Expect a deal to be announced soon or later tonight.
