With Steve Mason carrying the Flyers in net for the remainder of the season, the Flyers have returned Anthony Stolarz to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms for the final stretch of the AHL season.

The Phantoms have six games remaining this season, starting Friday, which gives Stolarz a chance to get a few final games in there.

Stolarz has been called up to the Flyers on March 19 as backup to Mason after Michal Neuvirth suffered an injury that would keep him out for the remainder of the regular season. Stolarz served as the backup for the next 10 games, but never made an appearance.

The Flyers also signed Ray Emery on March 29 to a try-out and officially offered him a contract two days later. He will serve as the backup for the remaining three games of the regular season. Neuvirth started skating again on Monday and is expected to return should the Flyers make the playoffs.

Stolarz has a 19-15-7 record this season in the AHL with a 2.59 GAA and .916 save percentage.

The Flyers continue their push toward the playoffs on Thursday night when they host the Toronto Maple Leafs at 7 p.m.
