A series preview of the weekend set between the Phillies (9-12) and division rival Atlanta Braves (14-11).

For the first time in Phillies (1-3) franchise history, the team will be playing a doubleheader comprised of two seven inning games. Both games against the New York Yankees (8-1) will be played in a mostly-empty Citizens Bank Park, however, the teams will split home team duties as the Phillies will play the “road” team in the first game and the “home” team for the second. Game one is scheduled to begin at 4:05 with game two starting roughly 35 minutes after game one concludes.

The Phillies resume play Monday night against the New York Yankees, but when will they be joined by their top two prospects, IF Alec Bohm and RHP Spencer Howard?

The Phillies (0-0) host the Miami Marlins (0-0) at Citizens Bank Park to open the 2020 season. RHP Aaron Nola faces off against 2019 NL All-Star RHP Sandy Alcantara for the Marlins.
