The Flyers losing streak is up to five games after falling to the Washington Capitals, 4-1, on Tuesday night at Wells Fargo Center.

The Flyers were unable to find a higher gear and rally back from two late two-goal deficits, closing 2023 with a loss to the Calgary Flames.
