A lot of the bubble players will get a look in Thursday’s preseason game against the New York Rangers, the final one on home ice in the preseason. Game time from Wells Fargo Center is set for 7 p.m.

The competition for the final spots has entered the final week of the preseason, which includes three more games for the Flyers. The first is on Monday night at Wells Fargo Center, as the Flyers take on the Boston Bruins.

The goalies are the leading topic at camp now with Alex Lyon and now Neuvirth dealing with injuries. Brian Elliott is also working his way back from an injury. The Flyers got off to another good start in Friday’s game, but the finish was hardly similar to the previous three games. For just the second time this preseason, the Flyers will be the home team. The game takes place in PPL Center, home to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, for the fourth annual preseason meeting in Allentown. Game time is set for 7 p.m.

The Flyers cut 11 players from the training camp roster, bringing the roster to 41.

Flyers goalie Alex Lyon will be out for four weeks with a lower-body injury, GM Ron Hextall announced on Thursday.
