The Phillies have announced the additions of RHP Adonis Medina, IF Bryson Stott and IF/OF Austin Listi to the club’s 60-man player pool. All three will report to the team’s alternate training site in Lehigh Valley.
The Phillies have made a decision on their starting rotation heading into their away series with the Toronto Blue Jays, oddly enough, being played at Citizen Bank Park.
On a night where Aaron Nola looked to run out of gas in the sixth, the Phillies offense was flat and a rookie made a rocky big-league debut out of the pen, SS Didi Gregorius shined bright. He had two hits including a home run in a 5-2 loss to the Marlins.
The Phillies (0-0) host the Miami Marlins (0-0) at Citizens Bank Park to open the 2020 season. RHP Aaron Nola faces off against 2019 NL All-Star RHP Sandy Alcantara for the Marlins.
