Bryce Harper Injury Update: Harper Homers Twice for Lehigh Valley

Rehabbing Philadelphia Phillies designated hitter Bryce Harper went 2-for-3 with 2 HRs, 4 RBIs, and a 2 BBs on Tuesday for the Lehigh Valley. The IronPigs defeated Gwinnett 10-5 but more importantly the Phillies’ slugger looked comfortable. The Phillies slugger spoke after the game about his first true at-bat’s in nearly two months.

Phillies Update Bryce Harper’s Injury Status

Help is on the way for the Philadelphia Phillies hit-and-miss offense.  Designated hitter Bryce Harper had the pins removed from his surgically repaired left thumb according to MLB.com’s Todd Zolecki.  The reigning National League MVP will begin a hitting program immediately.  A timetable for a rehab assignment and return to the lineup is unknown.
