Eagles place Cody Parkey on IR, sign Caleb Sturgis

  You can add another injury to the list, but this one might not hurt as much. Kicker Cody Parkey has been placed on injured reserve with a groin injury and is out for the season. The Eagles held tryouts for free-agent kickers on Monday and have signed Caleb Sturgis to replace Parkey.
