The bitter defeat extends Lehigh Valley’s season-high winless skid to eight games with just 10 games left on their regular season schedule.
The cuts continued for Ron Hextall as Wednesday came to a close. After sending Ivan Provorov, Travis Sanheim and Travis Konecny back to their junior teams, 20 more players were assigned to various locations.
