Islanders Down Flyers in OT in Preseason Opener

Following a sloppy first period, the Flyers managed to get on the board first. They eventually had to rally back for a late goal in the third period, before falling to the New York Islanders in overtime, 3-2, on Tuesday night at Wells Fargo Center.

Hart Gets 1st Shutout as Flyers Blank Devils

Carter Hart made a sprawling save on Taylor Hall during the Flyers successful kill of the 5-on-3 to preserve a 1-0 lead. He stopped the rest of the 24 shots faced for his first career shutout in a 4-0 win over the Devils on Wednesday night at Wells Fargo Center.
