Forwards Cole Bardreau, Greg Carey, Phil Varone and Danick Martel as well as defenseman T.J. Brennan were placed on waivers on Friday. Martel was claimed off waivers by the Tampa Bay Lightning while the other four cleared, bringing the Flyers roster to 36 players.
For many players in Tuesday’s game, a trip to the Phantoms is likely soon enough, but they showed their skill as well in a 5-1 Flyers win over the Islanders on Tuesday night at Barclays Center.

On Wednesday night, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms tried to accomplish something they hadn't all season: complete a three-game winning streak.
