The all-black uniforms return when the Eagles play on Thursday Night Football on Dec. 22 against the New York Giants. In conjunction with the NFL’s “Color Rush,” where teams wear solid color uniforms on Thursday night games, the Eagles will wear all black and the visiting Giants will wear all white.

From the time Carson Wentz threw his first career touchdown pass to the end of the Eagles win on Sunday, you knew you were watching a special moment for a special player. It may be just one game, but the dawning of something special was enough on this Sunday.

Carson Wentz’s debut was a key talking point at head coach Doug Pederson’s day after press conference. “For him to have that kind of poise in the pocket, for his first start, you just can’t teach that,” Pederson said.

It couldn’t have started off any better for Wentz and the Eagles, but as the game wore on, the momentum started to shift the Browns way. But in the end, the Eagles managed to weather the storm and stay the course on their way to victory. Grading the Eagles 29-10 win over the Cleveland Browns.

Carson Wentz shined in his NFL debut, something that was not surprising to his coach. “It’s not surprising, just knowing the maturity level that he has,” Doug Pederson said. “This is who he is.”

The first game was far from perfect, but Carson Wentz and the Eagles remained persistent in a 29-10 win over the Cleveland Browns in Week 1 on Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field.
