It’s been a busy week and active start to the season for the Flyers, and that doesn’t change on Sunday. The Flyers will host the 40th annual Flyers Wives Carnival on Sunday afternoon from 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The one area that wasn’t a problem for the Flyers last season has been a huge problem this season, and it’s costing the Flyers points in the standings as the team is on a scoring high.

The week ends with another meeting in Montreal against the red hot Canadiens, who just suffered their first regulation loss on Friday in a 10-0 shellacking.

One of the biggest surprises of the early season for the Flyers has been the play of 26-year-old blueliner Brandon Manning.
