It’s back home for the Flyers as they continue a busy first week of the preseason with a meeting against the Boston Bruins on Thursday night at 7 p.m.
Sean Couturier scored another hat trick for the Flyers, while Carter Hart stopped a career-high 39 shots in a 4-3 Flyers win over the Boston Bruins on Wednesday night at Wells Fargo Center.
A stretch that saw six of eight games played on home ice comes to an end on Wednesday night for the Flyers. Their opponent is the Boston Bruins, a team riding a hot streak, yet sitting in third in the Atlantic behind Toronto and Tampa Bay.
It took 33 minutes for the Bruins to strike, but Zdeno Chara’s goal to open the scoring was the only one needed in a 3-0 Flyers loss to the Bruins on Thursday night at TD Garden.
Getting back on the right side of the win column won’t be easy against one of the NHL’s best and most dangerous lines. The Flyers face the Bruins in Boston at 7 p.m.
It’s the final trial run for the Flyers in the preseason, as the team closes out the eight-game schedule with a trip to Boston to face the Bruins. Game time is at 5 p.m.
