Doug Pederson and the Eagles arrived back in Philadelphia early Tuesday morning after dismantling the Chicago Bears, 29-14, at Soldier Field on Monday night. Among the most discussed topics at the press conference was the controversial play call which resulted in a Ryan Mathews touchdown.

The Eagles improved to 2-0 last night with their defeat of the Chicago Bears. But are they actually a legitimate contender with just two wins over inferior opponents under their belt?

With anticipation of the Eagles meeting with the Bears building rapidly, here’s a look at how the teams match up against each other.

Eagles offensive coordinator Frank Reich was hesitant to compare Carson Wentz to any quarterback in particular, but after making it clear that the rookie wants to “blaze his own trail,” he referenced two gunslingers that Wentz reminds him of, including one Hall of Famer.

Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler is known for being a quarterback with happy feet, quick to move out of the pocket and has an aversion to being hit. Eagles defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz will need to bring consistent pressure to keep Cutler frantic and not allow him time to find star receiver Alshon Jeffery.
