Dougie Hamilton fired through the five-hole to seal a 5-4 win for the Hurricanes over the Flyers, giving them their fourth straight loss and a 1-4-1 record on a six-game road trip on Tuesday night.
For the second straight game, Morgan Frost was a presence, scoring another goal and assisting on the game-winning goal in the Flyers 5-3 win over the Carolina Hurricanes. That helped snap the Flyers four-game losing streak and get them back into the win column.
Morgan Frost scored a shorthanded goal to give the Flyers the lead in the second, then with the game tied again in the third, set up Claude Giroux for his second goal of the game and the eventual game-winner in a 5-3 Flyers win over the Hurricanes.
Carter Hart held the Flyers in the game through two periods, then the Flyers scored three goals in the third for a 4-1 win over the Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday night.
