The Flyers will have the 12th overall pick in the 2024 NHL Draft, following Tuesday night’s NHL Draft lottery.

While the road to the playoffs is certainly more manageable for the Wild than the Flyers at this point, both teams are somewhere in the middle of the standings.

A pair of goals by the Minnesota Wild separated by just 25 seconds was the difference in a 5-4 defeat for the Flyers on Thursday night at Wells Fargo Center. 

After Finland erased a 3-1 USA lead in the final 10 minutes of the third, Arthur Kaliyev scored with 1:16 remaining to give the US a 4-3 win in the Semi-final Round, advancing to the Gold Medal Game on Tuesday where they will face Canada.
