Andrew Painter, the Phillies top minor league prospect, made his first start for High-A Jersey Shore on Sunday. Painter showed why he’s the top prospect in the Phils system despite a a so-so outing.

Scott Kingery’s return to the Big Leagues is over.  The Phillies have reinstated starting pitcher Zack Wheeler from the paternity list and designated Kingrey for assignment. 

The No. 1 prospect in the Philadelphia Phillies farm system is on the move. RHP Andrew Painter has been promoted to High-A Jersey Shore, the club announced on Monday.

Former #1 overall pick in the MLB Amateur Draft, Mickey Moniak is set to begin his rehab assignment for the Phillies on Friday. The outfielder will report the Single-A Clearwater.

A trio of Phillies minor league prospects have earned Minor League Player of the Month honors for the month of April, the team announced on Thursday.  The awards were bestowed to Lehigh Valley first baseman Darick Hall, Clearwater starting pitcher Andrew Painter, and Corey Phelan.
