New York Islanders
With Philadelphia Flyers prospect Morgan Frost improving each and every day, he very may well be here in the NHL sooner rather than anticipated.
It was more of the same for the Flyers, who allowed the first goal again and never recovered in a 6-1 loss to the New York Islanders at Wells Fargo Center on Saturday afternoon.
The Flyers get a chance to rebound against the New York Islanders, a team still trying to find an identity after losing their captain via free agency in the offseason. Game time is at 1 p.m.
The Flyers got off to another good start in Friday’s game, but the finish was hardly similar to the previous three games. Ryan Pulock scored the game-winning goal on a one-timer in overtime to give the Islanders a 3-2 win over the Flyers at PPL Center on Friday night.
For just the second time this preseason, the Flyers will be the home team. The game takes place in PPL Center, home to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, for the fourth annual preseason meeting in Allentown. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
For many players in Tuesday’s game, a trip to the Phantoms is likely soon enough, but they showed their skill as well in a 5-1 Flyers win over the Islanders on Tuesday night at Barclays Center.
For the third straight day, the Flyers will face the New York Islanders in a preseason game. Once again, the game is at a different venue, taking place in Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Game time is at 7 p.m.
