Travis Konecny is at the forefront of the Flyers rebuild. The two-time All-Star could be one of the team’s leaders moving forward, or be one of their most valuable assets as the rebuild takes shape.
It seems fitting that Claude Giroux’s seventh trip to the NHL All-Star Game and possibly final one as a Flyer ended with the Metropolitan Division securing a victory with Giroux as captain. Giroux scored twice in the championship game against the Central Division after scoring a goal and adding an assist in the first game of Saturday afternoon’s event to take home MVP honors.
Travis Konecny had three assists in the Metropolitan Division’s 9-5 loss to the Atlantic Division. The Pacific Division claimed victory in the 3-on-3 tournament with a 5-4 win over the Atlantic in the final at the 2020 NHL All-Star Game in St. Louis.
Travis Konecny will be the Flyers representative at the NHL All-Star Game on Saturday, Jan. 25. It will be his first career All-Star Game appearance.
