John Tortorella was tossed from the game in the first period as the Flyers were lit up by the Tampa Bay Lightning, 7-0, on Saturday night.

The Flyers scored five goals in the third period to defeat the Tampa Bay Lightning, 6-2, on Tuesday night.

The Lightning got on the board first and never looked, handing the Flyers a 4-1 defeat on Thursday night at Wells Fargo Center.

The Flyers came away with the 4-3 win over the Senators on Saturday afternoon, but perhaps something bigger than just two points. It was just another example of a team that continues to show a closeness and ability to overcome adversity that wasn’t there in the past.

A chippy and physical game ended in victory for the Flyers, as Scott Laughton scored just 11 seconds after the Senators tied the game at three to lift the Flyers to a 4-3 win over Ottawa on Saturday afternoon at Wells Fargo Center.
