Eagles Re-Sign Donnie Jones, Cut Patrick Chung

After one disappointing season, Patrick Chung was released by the Eagles Tuesday afternoon. In the first hour of free-agency Tuesday the Eagles moved to take care of some housecleaning with two of their veterans. First, the team re-signed punter Donnie Jones to a three-year deal and also announced that they had released safety Patrick Chung.
