Toronto’s stifling defense completely shut down the Phantoms, as the Marlies piled on with two goals in the second and two goals in the third to take Game 3 by a score of 5-0 at PPL Center, taking a 3-0 series lead.

Scott Gordon is currently in his third season with the Phantoms and will be behind the bench for much longer. Gordon signed a contract extension to remain the Phantoms head coach.

It was the 100th regular season game at PPL Center on Saturday night, and it was a memorable game. The Lehigh Valley Phantoms were down late and managed to come back to tie, before ultimately surrendering the winning goal to Charles Hudon and the St. John’s IceCaps in a 4-3 loss.

Defenseman Mark Alt got his first goal of the season with 3:53 left to play in the third period of Friday night’s contest between the St. John’s IceCaps and the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. The goal turned out to be the game-winner, with Cole Bardreau adding an empty-netter to lead their team to a 4-2 victory.

The Lehigh Valley Phantoms played their first home game since the All-Star break on Wednesday night, defeating the Binghamton Senators by a final of 5-0. Five different Phantoms scored goals and helped the team bounce back from their 7-1 loss to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins last Saturday.

The hometown Atlantic Division dominated the Round-Robin, but couldn’t unseat the defending champions of the AHL All-Star Classic in the Final. A 1-0 shootout win for the Central clinched them a second-straight win at the All-Star Classic in front of another sell-out crowd at PPL Center.

The Lehigh Valley Phantoms used a hat trick from Danick Martel and a strong 41-save performance from Anthony Stolarz to beat the Binghamton Senators by a final of 7-2 on Wednesday night.
