As training camp and the preseason draw slightly closer, the Flyers already busy offseason warrants a look back. The Flyers have certainly made many changes. Hello Flyers fans! It's time for another edition of Between the Pipes where I look at a few of the top headlines from the week. It was certainly a big week for the future of the club with multiple long-term deals announced.

The Flyers ensured that a young piece of the lineup will be around for years to come. Forward Sean Couturier has signed a multi-year extension with the Flyers, worth $25.8 million over six years. The deal carries an AAV of $4.33 million. Couturier's cap hit in 2015-16 will be $3.75 million.
