Coburn traded to Lightning for Gudas, 2 draft picks

Just when you thought it was safe to go to sleep, Ron Hextall struck. The Flyers first move on deadline day came just short of 2 a.m. The Flyers traded defenseman Braydon Coburn to the Tampa Bay Lightning for defenseman Radko Gudas, a first-round pick and a third-round pick.

The Flyers goalie situation continues to be the walking wounded. Add Ray Emery to the list. Emery is day-to-day with a lower-body injury and did not make the trip with the Flyers for two road games this week in Carolina and Toronto.
