A goal midway through the third period was the difference for the Islanders, as the Flyers suffered the loss for the 13th straight game, setting a new franchise record in a 4-3 defeat on Tuesday night.

The Flyers are right back in action on Tuesday night, taking on the Minnesota Wild, a team they defeated a month ago at the start of an eight-game winning streak.

The Minnesota Wild have been clinging to a playoff spot among a mass of Western Conference teams that are hovering around the wildcard. They are the Flyers next opponent as the season continues on.

With little to cheer for Philadelphia, the Flyers’ new GM might look to swap players around as everyone is under surveillance during this evaluation period. The question is, how long will it last and who will be gone?
