Earlier today, the Toronto Blue Jays announced they had an announcement coming up. The announcement, according to Heyman, is that Halladay will officially retire on a one-day contract with the Toronto Blue Jays, the team that drafted him.
Phillies fans got to see one of baseball's most dominating pitchers. We are lucky.
The announcement will come from the Winter Meetings in Orlando at 12:30 p.m. More later.
