The Phillies are clearing house in the coaching department.
Just an hour after first base coach Sam Perlozzo was fired, Todd Zolecki reported that bench coach Pete Mackanin and hitting coach Greg Gross have been fired.
After an 81-81 record to finish the 2012 season, the Phillies front office are looking to re-vamp the coaching staff for the 2013 campaign. Not a bad idea.
