CBS Sports' Jon Heyman, who reported that the San Francisco Giants were indeed in trade talks for Hunter Pence, now believes that Pence could be a candidate for the Dodgers, too.
The Dodgers still looking for offense, have been talking to the Phillies about their outfielders Hunter Pence and Shane Victorino.
Victorino may be the more likely of the two but it's interesting that they are also in on Pence since their archrival Giants are known to be talking about Pence.
Hmm.
Victorino meanwhile continues to be connected to the Dodgers, Pirates, and Reds.
Just a theory: the Phillies leaked a trade rumor about the Dodgers to drive up the price for the Giants, who could be scared into ponying up a piece they don't want to trade.
