Morris was one of the final roster cuts for the Jaguars this year. He signed with Jacksonville as an undrafted free agent in 2014. The former University of Miami quarterback spent last season on the Jaguars practice squad.
After trading Matt Barkley on Friday and releasing Tim Tebow on Saturday, Eagles head coach Chip Kelly said yesterday that the team would bring in another quarterback. Morris is now the third quarterback on the Eagles roster, behind Sam Bradford and Mark Sanchez.
Morris is a developmental quarterback and likely won't be wearing pads on Sundays.
