At 5-38, there isn't a ton to be proud of as a Sixers fan. Sure, they have played better as of late, but when it comes overall play, there is still plenty to be desired. Since the addition of Ish Smith, the Sixers have played much better, but Nerlens Noel and Jahlil Okafor are still struggling to consistently co-exist, which could become a problem down the line. Before the team picked up Smith, they were the laughing stock of the NBA. Heck, they still are in some cases. Back in November, Jimmy Fallon and The Roots belittled the team on national television and this past weekend, another reputable long-running show, The Simpsons, took their jab at the Sixers. When a man at the Quikie Mart doesn't want to pay $30 for a tube of sunblock to put on his bald head, Apu offers him a Philadelphia 76ers hat for free instead. He decides to pay up. Very clever, Fox.
The Simpsons poke fun at @Sixers We're getting better though pic.twitter.com/qS8GtRGB0N
