Though he didn't win the award, he still received quite a bit of praise from his fellow players around the league. T.J. McConnell finished eighth in the voting for NBA Teammate of the Year, which was revealed on Monday night.
McConnell, known for being an incredible hustler and all-around reliable person, compiled 712 total points for the award including 33 first place points.

Timberwolves veteran guard Jamal Crawford ended up winning the award with 1,233 total points.
McConnell had himself one heck of a season for the Sixers on the court 6.3 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 4.0 assists in 76 games. He was 13th in the NBA in steal percentage (2.6).
McConnell recently had his team option executed to remain a Sixer for next season.
