Chase Utley is no more in red pinstripes but the show goes on as the Phillies head down to Miami for a four game series with their fellow basement dwellers.

Jerome Williams takes the ball for game one tonight and has been very good this month, coming off three consecutive strong outings. He allowed two runs (one earned) over six innings last week's loss in Milwaukee, striking out four. August was good to Williams last season so as the season begins to wind down, it'll be nice to have him eat some innings and keep this young club in the game.
Southpaw Brad Hand goes for Miami tonight. Hand has mostly worked out of the bullpen this season but has found his way into the rotation in August. He got touched up a bit last week in St. Louis, allowing eleven hits and six runs over six innings. Hand has a 3.44 ERA over nine games and five starts against the Phillies.
Aaron Altherr returns to the line up this evening after a really strong 2015 debut where he collected his first MLB hit, RBI, and home run. Darin Ruf is back at first base tonight against the lefty Hand and Andres Blanco as at third after going yard himself last night.
