With less than three months until the 2016-17 preseason schedule gets underway, Philadelphia 76ers big man Joel Embiid remains active in offseason workouts as he prepares for his NBA rookie season.
A video posted early Saturday morning of his workout with Drew Hanlen, Strategic Skills Coach and Consultant for the NBA and CEO of Pure Sweat Basketball, is showing just how well Embiid's comeback is progressing.
Hanlen's video of Embiid was the 50th installment of his #100skills100days video clip series, that since June 2 has showcased his work with NBA athletes.
Some of Hanlen's full-time clients include Andrew Wiggins, Dwight Howard, Bradley Beal, Zach LaVine, Jordan Clarkson and David Lee, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Drafted third overall in the 2014 NBA Draft, Embiid has yet to don a Sixers jersey due to a multiple-occurring broken right foot. He is expected to join Dario Saric and top pick Ben Simmons as some of the team's newest additions to the court this upcoming season.
