The Montclair, California, native allowed one run on two hits and a walk in five innings during a rehab stint with Double-A Reading on Wednesday.

Ray's only career start against the Phillies occurred June 17 at Citizens Bank Park. In 36 2/3 innings at home this season, the southpaw is (2-3) with a 5.89 ERA, 1.636 WHIP, 39 strikeouts and seven home runs allowed.

The Phillies have lost four consecutive games to the Diamondbacks, as they were swept in a four-game series from June 17-20 of this season, outscored 22 to five.
