By Denny Basens, Sports Talk Philly staff writer Week 9 NFL Picks

The second half of the NFL season is upon us as the calendar flips to November.

Here's a look at the Week 9 matchups around the NFL and predictions.

Pittsburgh at Baltimore

Even if Big Ben is still out of action, the Steelers are fresh off of the bye week and should have enough at the skill positions to upset Baltimore on the road.

Pick: Pittsburgh 20, Baltimore 16

Dallas at Cleveland

The Browns blew their best chance for a win a week ago. The Dallas offense has too much firepower for them to stand a chance this week.

Pick: Dallas 38, Cleveland 13

Jacksonville at Kansas City

Nick Foles looked pretty good in relief of Alex Smith a week ago. He should be able to guide the Chiefs to another win against a Jags team that can only produce in garbage time.

Pick: Kansas City 27, Jacksonville 20

New York at Miami

The Jets just barely got by the Browns a week ago. Miami is rested from their bye, and was playing well during the two weeks leading up to it.

Pick: Miami 23, New York 20

Detroit at Minnesota

Sam Bradford and the Vikings offense has finally been exposed. The Vikings have only put up 10 points in the last two weeks, and will continue to struggle for awhile.

Pick: Detroit 20, Minnesota 13

Philadelphia at New York

The Eagles have had the Giants' number over the last few years. It's a must-win for the Birds, who simply can't afford to drop to 0-3 in the division.

Pick: Philadelphia 27, New York 17

Carolina at Los Angeles

Last week's dominate win over the Cardinals might be just what the Panthers need to get themselves going again.

Pick: Carolina 23, Los Angeles 10

New Orleans at San Francisco

Another week, another blowout loss for Chip Kelly

Pick: New Orleans 38, San Francisco 20

Indianapolis at Green Bay

Andrew Luck may be up for the challenge of facing the Packers on the road, but the rest of his teammates are not.

Pick: Green Bay 35, Indianapolis 24

Tennessee at San Diego

Quietly, the Titans have become a surprise playoff contender in the AFC.

Pick: Tennessee 24, San Diego 21

Denver at Oakland

The Raiders are on the right track, but aren't quite ready for the Denver defense just yet.

Pick: Denver 23, Oakland 16

Buffalo at Seattle

Russell Wilson clearly isn't healthy, but the Seahawks have to win this game at home after letting two winnable games slip away.

Pick: Seattle 17, Buffalo 13
