What to expect for Phillies vs Dodgers at Citizens Bank Park

Philadelphia: There is going to be a playoff-like feel this weekend at Citizens Bank Park as the Philadelphia Phillies, led by Bryce Harper, take on Shohei Ohtani & the defending World Champion Los Angeles Dodgers. The Dodgers come into the series at 8-0 while the Phillies are coming off a series sweep of the Rockies.

There is going to be a couple of things to keep an eye on for what is going to be going on that the ballpark

 

Playoff-like feel:

This weekend is going to have a playoff-like feel and could be a possible NLCS preview in October

Gate opens early:
Starting this season, games on Monday thru Friday fans can enter the ballpark two hours before the first pitch. On weekends, they’ll get access 2 ½ hours before the game.

Promotions & First Pitch:
Friday:
The Phillies will be wearing their City Connect Uniforms that they debuted for every Friday Home game last year & will be doing the same thing for this season. They will also be showing off a new City Connect hat

Throwing out the first pitch will be the defending IBF welterweight champion Jaron Ennis, who is from Philadelphia

Jaron Ennis has an upcoming title defense that will be held at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City on April 12 Live on DAZN.

Saturday:

It is Cavity Busters Kids Opening Day! All children 14 and under will receive a knit hat.

Sunday:
Philadelphia Big 5 Coaching legend Fran Dunphy, who retired at the end of the 24-25 season, will throw out the first pitch

Also, for the Sunday game, all fans will receive a 2025 Schedule Magnet presented by Ace Hardware Home Services
