On the two year anniversary of his pitching victory in the 19 inning classic over the Cincinnati Reds, (well technically tomorrow is the anniversary but the game started today in 2011), former Phillies utility infielder Wilson Valdez has signed on with the Camden Riversharks of the Atlantic League. This comes after two failed attempts to get back to the majors this season with San Francisco and Miami.
Some recent alumni of the Phillies system are currently in Camden such as Brian Bass and Delwyn Young. Pedro Feliz also manned the hot corner there the past two seasons.
