The Philadelphia Eagles offense will definitely take a hit with Carson Wentz no longer under center, but the team should be getting one of their primary receivers back for Sunday's game against the Giants. Tight end Zach Ertz left the Eagles' game against the Seahawks after hitting his head on the ground following a catch. After being evaluated, Ertz was determined to have a concussion and he was not cleared in time for the Rams game. The fifth-year tight end out of Stanford looks to be back on track to return against New York, officially cleared from concussion protocol.
HC Doug Pederson says TE Zach Ertz is “good to go” and that OG Stefen Wisniewski should be ready for Giants.

Ertz was one of Carson Wentz's main receivers this season, targeted 85 times and making 57 catches for 663 yards and a career-high seven touchdowns. Believe it or not, Nick Foles was the signal-caller during Ertz's rookie season back in 2013, so the two are familiar with one another. Ertz brought in seven touchdown catches in his first two seasons with Foles behind center.
In place of Ertz against the Rams, Brent Celek and Trey Burton combined for 76 yards and three touchdowns.
The Eagles visit the Giants on Sunday before closing out the regular season at home against Oakland on Christmas night and Dallas on New Year's Eve.
